This nonprofit began when Germaine and LaToya Williams witnessed the struggles of homelessness and food insecurity firsthand. Their personal commitment to helping others grew into a structured nonprofit, now serving hundreds through meals, shelter partnerships, and community initiatives.
Founder/Executive Director
LaToya Williams, Founder and Executive Director of Williams & Family Community Outreach, provides vision and oversight for all programs. Inspired by witnessing homelessness firsthand, she leads with compassion and determination, guiding initiatives that deliver nutritious meals, housing, training, and lasting community empowerment.
Co-Founder
Germaine Williams Sr., Co-Founder of Williams & Family Community Outreach, focuses on strategic support and community partnerships. His leadership strengthens outreach and housing initiatives, ensuring individuals experiencing homelessness receive both immediate care and opportunities for long-term stability in the DMV area.
Secretary
Gina Dinkins serves as Secretary, managing records, communication, and event organization for Williams & Family Community Outreach. She also supports volunteer coordination, ensuring programs run smoothly while helping expand the nonprofit’s reach to serve individuals and families with efficiency and compassion.
Treasurer
Fontella Johnson, Treasurer of Williams & Family Community Outreach, manages financial accountability, budgeting, and grant reporting. Her role ensures transparency and compliance, safeguarding resources that sustain vital programs such as housing, meals, and training, while supporting the nonprofit’s growth and lasting community impact.
